Paper Ripples – Traditional Chinese Medicine Tea Bag Packaging Design
This medicine bag is wrapped in a ripple-shaped cardboard, which can cover the cup’s opening during brewing to trap the heat. Users can pull a small ball to move the tea bag, ensuring that the herbs are fully soaked. Once released, the ceramic ball smoothly returns to its original position. After brewing, simply lift the tea bag and use the lid to easily discard it without dirtying the table or hands.
In China, the most traditional way of drinking Chinese medicine is by simmering it in a pot, a childhood memory for many. This design aims to redefine the way we use Chinese medicine tea bags, offering a more convenient and enjoyable experience. The simple, cost-effective packaging structure aligns closely with the method of brewing and consuming Chinese medicine, making the process of drinking it more accessible and fun.
