Bamboo Moxibustion

When people use moxibustion sticks, there's often a subtle desire to find a mark on the stick to indicate when to stop, as if the process should conclude at a specific point.

A moxibustion stick typically burns for about an hour and a half, while the optimal time to treat a particular acupuncture point is around 15 minutes. This design introduces a unique feature to the moxibustion stick by making the moxa paper overlap and raise in certain sections, mimicking the appearance of bamboo. The simple, rustic design evokes the ancient tradition of moxibustion, with each "bamboo joint" subtly indicating the time and stages of the treatment. This shape not only serves as a visual cue but also enhances the cultural aesthetic, adding an elegant, scholarly touch to the practice.
